Context
The Sacred Hearts Pilgrimage is an annual event in Beauraing, Belgium. The organizing team needed a site to centralize practical information, route details (5km walks to 50km bike rides), and manage online registrations.
The challenge
Make the event accessible to a broad audience — from regular hikers to families. The site had to be clear, fast-loading, and easy for the organizing team to update without technical skills.
The approach
Clean design with an aesthetic suited to the spiritual context. Intuitive navigation with a sticky header. Google Forms integration for registrations and BilletWeb for ticketing. Manrope and Fira Code fonts for a modern look. Built on WordPress with Oxygen Builder so the team can manage content independently.
Results
A functional site that centralizes all pilgrimage information. Smooth online registration, social media integration, and easily editable content for the team.
